There’s a reason some shoes never get worn a second time.
They look beautiful when you first try them on. You bring them home convinced you’ve found your next favourite pair. A few hours later, your heels are covered in blisters and you’re counting down the minutes until you can take them off. You tell yourself they’ll be more comfortable next time. They rarely are. Before long, they’ve been pushed to the back of your shoe cabinet, while you keep reaching for the pair that has never let you down.
Naturalizer was built around the idea that women shouldn’t have to put up with that.
Founded in the United States in 1927, the brand was among the first footwear labels to design shoes around the natural contours of a woman’s foot, rather than expecting women to squeeze themselves into whatever was fashionable at the time. Nearly a century later, that women-first philosophy continues to shape everything it does.
Now, shoppers in Singapore are getting a closer look at what that means.
Open until 4 October 2026, Naturalizer’s pop-up at JEM offers an early introduction to the Summer 2026 collection ahead of the opening of the brand’s first standalone concept store in Singapore this November. More than simply previewing new shoes, the space gives shoppers a chance to understand why comfort has remained at the heart of Naturalizer for almost 100 years.
The Summer 2026 collection isn’t trying to convince anyone to dress differently.
Instead, it focuses on styles that quietly earn their place in everyday wardrobes. The Carla slip-on flat is designed for women who are always on the move, pairing a clean silhouette with a flexible rubber outsole and the brand’s signature Contour+ cushioning.

The sculptural Tuesday heel proves that dressing up doesn’t always have to come at the expense of comfort, while the Banks slingback flat updates a timeless pointed-toe silhouette with a walkable low block heel.

For those looking for even more everyday support, the Vera features the brand’s next-generation Contour+ footbed to help reduce foot fatigue throughout the day.

Nothing here feels overdesigned or trend-driven.
The loafers are polished without feeling overly formal. Ballet flats remain clean and uncomplicated. The heels favour timeless shapes over dramatic details, while the sneakers are made for the kind of days that involve far more walking than sitting. They’re the kind of shoes you can see yourself reaching for again and again, rather than admiring once before putting them away.
That same thinking carries through to the technology behind the collection. Naturalizer’s signature Contour+ Technology is designed to support the natural shape of the foot with cushioned arch and heel support, breathable cooling linings and soft padding. Selected styles also feature N Flex Technology, which provides added flexibility and shock absorption, alongside Future Foam Footbeds that improve airflow and underfoot stability. The collection is available in sizes up to 10, with selected styles offered in wide widths, making it easier for more women to find a comfortable fit. Prices start from S$169.
The pop-up also offers an early glimpse of the retail experience Naturalizer is preparing for its standalone concept store. Instead of waiting until November, shoppers can already explore the collection, try on the shoes and decide for themselves whether comfort really can go hand in hand with style.
In fashion, it’s easy to fall for a beautiful pair of shoes. The harder part is finding the pair you’ll still want to wear months later. If Naturalizer has done its job right, these won’t be the ones gathering dust at the back of your shoe cabinet. They’ll be the pair waiting patiently by the front door, ready for whatever the day has planned.
